1- LOOKING FOR A DOCTOR-OPHTHALMOLOGIST M/F FOR A 50-100% POSITION

We are looking for a 50%-100% FMH ophthalmologist, passionate and qualified to join our dynamic medical team. As an Ophthalmologist, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing and treating eye disorders and vision problems in our patients. You will play an essential role in preserving the visual health and well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive ophthalmological examinations to diagnose eye diseases and vision problems.

Prescribe medical treatments, glasses or contact lenses according to patients' needs.

Perform ophthalmic surgical procedures when required, such as cataract surgery, intravitreal injections. Perform retinal lasers or anterior segment lasers (YAG)

Collaborate with other health professionals to provide comprehensive, coordinated health care.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, test results and treatment plans.

Provide advice and information to patients on eye care, recommended treatments and preventive measures.

Requirements :

Medical degree with specialization in ophthalmology and valid license to practice medicine

Diploma in ophthalmology FMH

In-depth knowledge of ocular anatomy, physiology and pathology

Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with patients and medical team members

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Commitment to continuous learning and updating of professional skills.

3- SEARCH for qualified ES ORTHOPTIST M/F

Join our dynamic team as a qualified orthoptist

Centre Nord Vaudois d’Ophtalmologie is located in Yverdon-les-Bains, close to the train station.

The Center offers the most advanced techniques (eye test, eye control, macular degeneration, glaucoma screening, cataract surgery, myopia surgery, laser therapy, etc.).

Care for school-age children and comprehensive follow-up of myopia progression

Job description:

We are looking for a 40% orthoptist 2 days a week, on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Tasks: orthoptic assessments, amblyopia follow-up, orthoptic rehabilitation, technical examinations (CV, OCT, biometry, topography)

Start date: April 2024

Qualifications required:

Diploma in orthoptics ES or equivalent

4- SEARCH MEDICAL SECRETARY 80-100% - M/F

For our reception and welcome

Your tasks :

  • Welcoming, informing and guiding patients
  • Ensure the smooth running of consultations.
  • Organize appointments and manage diaries
  • Manage phone calls and e-mails
  • Correcting and formatting examination reports.

Your profile:

  • Commercial CFC or medical secretary diploma
  • Excellent spelling and command of the French language
  • Experience in ophthalmology desirable
  • Knowledge of English an asset
  • Good reception skills and ease in dealing with patients
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Good stress management
  • Discretion and respect for medical secrecy
